At SK TES, we take care of old IT equipment – securely, responsibly, and with as little waste as possible. We collect laptops, phones, servers and enterprise products from both private companies and the public sector, wipe them clean of data, and either recycle or resell them so they get a second life, using the highest data security standards. We’re a small team of 15 people in Sweden – located in Jönköping – and part of one of the world’s biggest players in this field. Globally, SK TES has over 40 sites with 2600 employees in more than 20 countries. THIS IS THE MISSION
- Drive growth through sales
This is a commercial leadership role at its core. As our General Manager you are expected to actively drive new business, build long-term customer relationships, and expand the client base – with a particular focus on the public sector. Revenue expansion is key to the long-term success of the Swedish business, and you will play a key role in identifying opportunities, opening doors, and converting prospects into loyal customers.
- Build the local brand and market presence
SK TES is a global leader in IT asset disposition, with a growing presence in the Nordic region. Strengthening local brand visibility is an exciting opportunity – both to support sales and to build trust in a market where security and compliance matter. You will lead efforts to position SK TES as a reliable partner in both the public and private sectors, and help clarify and communicate the value of our offering across the Nordic region.
- Unlock more value from the Swedish operation
As our General Manager you will be responsible for developing the full potential of the Swedish site – not just through sales, but by improving internal processes and exploring new areas of value creation. That could include further development of battery recycling, local refurbishment capabilities, or other commercial initiatives aligned with SK TES’s global strategy.

The Swedish team is small, close-knit, and engaged — with a collaborative culture that continues to evolve. Your mission is to build on this foundation and support clarity, connection, and day-to-day teamwork. A motivated, stable team will be key to enabling the next phase of our strategic growth.

- Strong commercial drive
You’re a salesperson at heart – confident in building relationships, identifying opportunities, and turning them into deals. You’re a natural networker who builds trust, connects people, and stays top-of-mind. You know how to open doors and navigate complex environments, especially in the public sector where experience and strong relationships make a real difference.
- Experienced leader
You know how to lead both people and operations in a hands-on way. Maybe you’ve run a small company, led a business unit, or managed a tight-knit team where you were close to the day-to-day. Your leadership is clear, supportive, and built on trust. You’re comfortable speaking with everyone – from warehouse staff to senior executives – and you create structure, focus, and confidence through steady, people-centered leadership and highly developed communication skills.
- Solution-oriented and pragmatic
You focus on progress with purpose. Working hands-on in a lean setup, you make smart decisions, simplify complexity, and keep things moving without adding noise. You strive for excellence—not by overworking or overengineering, but by doing things right from the start. You see what needs to be done—and get it done.
- Academic background
You have at least a bachelor’s degree — most likely in business, tech or a related field — that gives you the foundation to understand both operations and commercial strategy.
