THIS IS THE MISSION
At FläktGroup we’re investing in the next level of strategic purchasing. A new global matrix organization is being implemented to strengthen alignment, increase cross-regional collaboration, and create even more value through one shared approach. As Regional Purchasing Manager for the Nordics, you’ll have a key role in making that vision a reality – with strong ownership, a clear mandate, and the opportunity to shape how purchasing is done both regionally and globally.
More specifically, your mission is to:
- Lead purchasing in the Nordics
You will take the lead in driving and shaping purchasing across the Nordics — covering both direct and indirect categories for production sites and sales units in Sweden and Finland. That means setting the strategic direction for the region, leading the local team, and making sure Nordic priorities are aligned with the broader global strategy. You report to Global Purchasing Director and is expected to be on site in Jönköping 2-3 days a week. - Enable harmonization and smarter ways of working
A key part of your role will be to drive continuous improvement of purchasing processes and enable smarter, more scalable ways of working. Through your active participation in the Global Purchasing Board, you will contribute to shaping the group’s global procurement agenda. By aligning tools, systems, and workflows across countries and functions, you will help create consistency and unlock synergies. Your work will lay the foundation for a more connected and future-focused procurement function across the group. - Support supplier development and strategic sourcing
Work proactively to strengthen sourcing, reduce risk, and build long-term supplier relationships that support availability, quality, and cost efficiency. You and your team will contribute to stronger supplier performance and increased resilience in the supply chain. Strengthening collaboration with key suppliers and developing structured ways of working will also be essential to support both innovation and continuous improvements for the business. - Strengthen team collaboration and impact
Provide clear, supportive leadership that brings out the best in every member of your team — enabling stronger cross-functional collaboration, better structure, and a shared sense of ownership. You lead with clarity and purpose, creating the conditions for others to succeed while aligning individual strengths toward a common strategic direction.
THIS IS YOU
- Experienced in strategic purchasing
You bring solid experience in both direct and indirect purchasing, including negotiations, supplier management, and improving cost and performance. You’ve worked cross-functionally, led teams, and know how to bring structure and clarity in a collaborative way. Experience from the automotive industry is a strong plus, as it often shapes a mindset of high standards, process discipline, and a deep understanding of quality-driven purchasing. - Strategic and hands-on
You combine strategic thinking with a practical mindset – and you know change happens through people. Rather than doing everything yourself, you focus on building the right processes, supporting your team, and creating the conditions for others to succeed. - A clear communicator
You’re skilled at explaining the bigger picture, aligning different stakeholders, and making things feel concrete and actionable. Your way of working builds trust, ownership, and momentum. You bring people with you – not by pushing harder, but by creating clarity and building trust. - Driven by ownership and progress
You don’t wait for direction, you take it. You’re the kind of person who spots what’s missing, sets a plan, and makes it happen.
AIM´S TAKE
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a key region – with real mandate and influence. It’s a role for someone who thrives on turning vision into structure: developing the foundations to take purchasing to the next level, building alignment across functions and countries, and contributing to key sourcing decisions at global level. It’s strategic, hands-on, and full of potential for someone who thrives on turning complexity into clarity. If you’re looking for a role where you can both build and influence – this is your kind of opportunity.
